The selection of decoration materials for cleanrooms mainly involves: color steel sandwich panels, metal plate materials, adhesive board materials, clean floors, etc. Color steel sandwich panels are important maintenance materials for cleanrooms. Color steel sandwich composite board, also known as color steel sandwich board, is made of sandwich materials made of specially made high-strength water and color steel plate surface layer load, which are heated, pressurized, and solidified. The mainstream sandwich materials in the market are: flame-retardant self-extinguishing polystyrene board, polyurethane material, gypsum board, rock wool board, paper honeycomb board, aluminum honeycomb board, glass magnesium board, and so on.


 

The strength and construction process of color steel plates vary depending on the sandwich materials. Currently, the mainstream materials for purification projects in China are double glass magnesium color steel plates and rock wool color steel plates. However, other colored steel plates, such as polystyrene boards, are prohibited from being used in the latest cleanroom regulations due to their tendency to produce toxic and harmful gases during combustion; Although aluminum honeycomb panels have good performance in all aspects, their cost is higher, so they have not been widely used. Along with the installation of color steel plates, there will be many supporting aluminum profiles, such as door frame profiles, grooved arc angle profiles, aluminum alloy square tubes, fixed glass window bead bases, glass inclined bead bases, grooved aluminum, and cross aluminum, all of which are necessary auxiliary materials.


Common metal plate materials include stainless steel plate, carbon steel plate, electrolyte plate, aluminum plate, and so on. Their process is to support the skeleton with section steel or light steel, decorate the surface with metal plates, and apply insulation layers to spray coatings on the surface of carbon steel plates and electrolyte plates. This material is often used in operating room purification projects because it has fewer splices and can effectively prevent the growth of bacteria.


The main requirements for cleanroom flooring are: corrosion resistance, wear resistance, anti slip, anti-static, and easy to clean. Commonly used floor decoration materials include copper embedded terrazzo, diamond, solvent-free epoxy self-leveling, adhesive flooring (PVC anti-static flooring, PVC soft board), etc. Copper inlaid terrazzo and diamond: Its characteristics are made by on-site pouring and grinding, with good integrity, smooth wear resistance, dust-free and anti-static properties. However, this type of ground is difficult to construct, has a long construction period, and requires special materials to be pre sprinkled in the early stages of the project before grinding, so it is rarely used in current purification projects.

 

1. Epoxy self-leveling:

Its characteristics are seamless, good overall, dust-free, smooth and wear-resistant, rich in color, and good visual effect. However, it has strict requirements for base treatment, requires a qualified ground foundation, and requires three layers of coating: primer, intermediate, and surface coating to complete the construction. At present, epoxy self-leveling is widely used in cleanroom projects.

               

2. PVC anti-static floor:

Its surface is smooth, soft, wear-resistant and dust-free, with good mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. The surface coated with special conductive liquid can effectively meet the anti-static requirements, and is currently the mainstream ground material in cleanroom purification projects.
